Requirements for appointment

Diploma in Health Promotion and Education, Health, Communication, Community Health, Medical Anthropology,
Sociology or a related field from a recognized Institution
Good knowledge of theory and the practice of health promotion.
Knowledge or qualification in health-related disciplines,Health communication, implementation of multi-sectoral interventions.
Good Communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with the community to identify and prioritize health needs
Conduct school health promotion programs
Conduct patient and community health education
Create awareness on disease prevention and control
Provide support to community health workers
Carry out training for community health workers on health promotion
Mobilize and educate community groups on priority health promotion issues
Develop and disseminate health information and materials
Mobilize local resources for the implementation of health promotion programs
