Job Description

  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Services Officer, the position holder will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fintech tribe. He/She will ensure that the tribe’s operations are aligned with the overall business strategy and that it meets the needs of internal and external stakeholders. He/She will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the tribe’s services are delivered efficiently and effectively, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Fintech Operations Tribe, including a team of managers and professionals, to ensure successful execution of the tribe’s operations.
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the tribe’s operations in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, technology, customer Support, risk, legal and compliance to ensure that the tribe’s services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously review and optimize the tribe’s processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure that the tribe stays ahead of the competition.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the tribe’s services meet their needs.
  • Ensure that the tribe is operating within the agreed budget and timelines.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights from operational data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with data teams to develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for monitoring operational performance.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators related to fintech operations. Define and monitor metrics such as transaction processing time, error rates, customer satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency. Use KPIs to drive performance improvements and identify areas for optimization.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the team members to achieve their full potential.


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, Accounting or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services operations with a focus on fintech, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing operations, preferably in a large, complex organization.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry and fintech landscape, including regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Data Analytics Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel. Experience in extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive operational improvements.
  • Performance Measurement: Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and their application in measuring operational performance. Ability to define, track, and report on relevant KPIs to monitor and improve fintech operations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
