Duties and Responsibilities

Research, Design, Develop and test software and applications for computers
Testing and evaluating new programs
Identifying areas of modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
Writing and implementing efficient code
Maintain all software and create updates regularly for effective service delivery

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen;
Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade C+ or its approved equivalent;
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Computer science, Electronic &Computer Engineering, Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Knowledge of the software development life-cycle; and,
Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
