  • Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Ruiru).
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • The Sales person will develop and promote sales at one of the upcoming Lapaire Optical Centers, meeting physically with potential customers and handling customer calls. He/she will work closely with Optometrists from the Optical Center and will directly report to the Branch Manager.

Their job will be composed of 3 main tasks:

Reach out and attend potential customers over the phone or at the Branch.

  • Increase awareness around clear sight to all potential customers
  • Use your knowledge to explain the benefits of wearing eyeglasses
  • Listen, look and help people choose frames and lenses

Convert customers interest into successful sales

  • Follow-up with potential customers over the phone, answering their questions related to pricing, payment and delivery
  • Present clear pricing and installment plans options to potential customers
  • Collect deposits and close sales with customers in due time

Ensure smooth delivery to customers

  • Keep customers informed about the delivery and status of their order

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing , or any relevant field, with +1 years of professional experience in a business/retail setting.
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic sales techniques and telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • It is required from candidates to be proficient in accounting and analysis software (Excel etc.)
