Duties and Responsibilities

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

Providing first level support to end user devices;(ii) Carrying out routine checks of ICT equipment;
Maintaining cleanliness of ICT equipment; and
Reporting any faults for further action.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C- or its approved equivalent;
Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology, or any other Information Communication Technology related qualification from a recognized institution.

Academic and professional certificates.
