Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:

An earned PhD or an equivalent degree qualification in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution
Must have a Masters of Medicine in Psychiatry or Internal Medicine from a recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at Associate Professor or equivalent and research experience
Have minimum of sixty (60) research and publication points since attaining Associate Professorship of equivalent of which at forty (40) must be from referred scholarly journals
Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage
Attracted research or development funds as an Associate Professor (vi) Be registered with relevant professional body

Two (2) copies of the application letter and certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts and professional qualifications together with a curriculum vitae detailing age, marital status, work experience, current post, names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom should be your current supervisor/employer.
