Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:
That for a candidate to qualify for appointment to the post of a Planning Officer Grade 12 he/she must have the following qualifications and requirements: –
A Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management or other related fields, from a recognized University.
A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or other related fields, from a recognized University
Five (5) years’ experience in developing and executing Strategic Plans.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of public policy and planning
Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in planning.
Must be a member of a relevant professional body and in good standing
Must meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution
Must be Computer Literate
Two (2) copies of the application letter and certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts and professional qualifications together with a curriculum vitae detailing age, marital status, work experience, current post, names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom should be your current supervisor/employer.
