Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:
An earned PhD in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from a recognized University. The Masterโs degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya. The fellowship may be in any of the four of specialisations
Gynecologic Oncology
Infertility
Uro-Gynaecology
Foeto โ maternal medicine will be an added advantage
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University as a Senior Lecturer level or Senior Researcher/ Industry experience or equivalent
Minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent of which least thirty-two (32) must be from refereed scholarly journals
Supervision of postgraduate students will be added advantage
Have attracted research funds or development funds as Senior Lecturer
Be registered with a relevant professional body.
