Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:

An earned PhD in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution.
OR

Must have a Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine from a recognized University.
The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points, as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) should be in refereed scholarly journals
At least three (3) years research, teaching and clinical experience in the relevant specialty as a lecturer at the University level/ research or industry.
Attracted research or development funds as a Lecturer/Research Fellow
Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage
Be registered with relevant professional body

Two (2) copies of the application letter and certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts and professional qualifications together with a curriculum vitae detailing age, marital status, work experience, current post, names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom should be your current supervisor/employer.
