Job Description

(a) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Facilitates tender opening process;
ii. Prepares internal memo to invite members of technical committee;
iii. Drafts invitation, notifications, and regret letters;
iv. Formulate tender advert;
v. Avails processed invoices to accounts department for payment;
vi. Maintain and update all procurement registers;
vii. Conducts market surveys for standard goods; and
viii. Un-sealer’s in the IFMIS system.

(b) Requirements for Appointment
i. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Purchasing and Supply
Chain Management and Logistics Management.
ii. Has proven relevant experience in any of the following fields; Supply
Chain Management, Purchasing and supplies, Logistics Management and
Public Procurement;
iii. Proficiency in Computer applications; and
