Senior Financial Analyst at BURN

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Design, update, manage and consolidate financial models across BURN’s business activities.
Develop valuation models, including DCF, NPV, and ROI analysis, to support investment case assessment.
Automate financial modelling processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Collaborate with business units to refine key assumptions and inputs used in financial models.
Create dynamic dashboards and visualization tools to track financial performance and model outcomes.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial modelling methodologies and assumptions across the organization.
Support Fundraising teams in coordinating due diligence process such as maintaining data rooms and responding to investor queries, during fundraising process.

Skills and Experience

Strong Microsoft Excel financial modelling skills; expert level skills (VBAs, automations, macros, etc.) a plus.
Familiarity with investment instruments including debt, equity, and project finance.
Experience in financial analysis and modelling, preferably within a corporate finance or investment banking environment.
Experience with carbon credits, ESG requirements, and corporate legal documents.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation techniques.
