Job Description
Key Tasks:
Assist in generating a variety of communication materials, such as meeting notes, email responses, draft background papers, graphics, and digital analyses.
Assist in coordination within the Division and across other departments for a variety of projects and initiatives.
Support the management of partnerships for World Environment Da, Champions of the Earth, and UN Environment Assembly (e.g., drafting meeting minutes, responding to inquiries, conducting follow-ups, updating databases, performing due diligence processes, monitoring and collecting data).
Support outreach activities for various public advocacy campaigns and activities.
Assist with the organization of internal and external meetings and events.
Support the drafting of wrap-up reports and the day-to-day communication of campaign activities.
Provide administrative, project management, and information management support.
Carry out other duties on an as-needed basis as may be required.
Qualifications/special skills
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelorโs degree or equivalent).
Preferred areas of studies: Communications, Information Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Media Studies, Journalism, or related field.
No work experience is required. Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience.
