The Operational Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director and manage the standard Operational Finance activities for the market. This role will build a successful team, manage process risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and implement process controls to ensure Operational Finance deliverables are achieved accurately and timely.
Maintains and reviews documentation ensuring compliance with policies and audit requirements
Ensures clear governance is in place to manage changes to Master Data and its impact across multiple systems and processes including definitions and mapping rules
Develops and delivers on key process performance indicators
Effectively manages the team and its deliverables focusing on utilization, effectiveness, cross-training, and engagement
Drives delivery of continuous process improvement initiatives and implements best practices to achieve operational efficiencies
Engages closely with Commercial Finance and Financial Control teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to resolve key process issues
Effectively manages risk and escalations where process deficiencies are identified

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on operational finance.
Experience in managing and implementing process controls, compliance, and performance metrics.
Proven experience in leading teams and managing deliverables effectively.

Industry Experience (preferred):

Experience in shared services environments or multinational corporations (MNCs).
Exposure to FMCG, advertising/media, or technology-driven industries is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial processes (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations).
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
