Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development
Develop, Plan, prepare, and implement IB lessons with consideration of Waldorf Education Principles.
Research more IB teaching methods and resources to ensure inclusive learning.
Formulate and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and taking necessary action to ensure students are well prepared for the main exams.
Learners Support and Engagement:
Promote positive environment for the learners and ensure inclusivity and intellectual eagerness.
Promote critical thinking and problem-solving and love for the subject.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects to promote engagement learning.
Participate in faculty meetings and various professional development workshops.
Engage with the school community, including parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, to support student learning and well-being in collaboration with the school management.
Actively participate in the school events, extracurricular activities, and community service initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject.
TSC registration is a must.
Experience with extended essay
Conversant with Turnitin and managebac
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB setup.
Combination of subjects will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of IB Mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to professional growth and development.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
