Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE
The job holder will be responsible for creating engaging designs that effectively communicate the University’s message across various platforms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create layouts for review and approval as per project assigned
Work closely with the brief owners to conceptualize their ideas
Develop graphic design proposals based on briefs issued by the users.
Collaborating with other relevant stakeholders, develop an understanding of the KCAU brand and brand guidelines to inform all proposed graphic designs.
Propose and share new tools that can be used to improve graphic design work at KCAU.
Provide guidance on printing specs for different designed materials.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Graphic Design or related field from a recognized and accredited institution
A degree in the relevant field from a recognized and accredited institution will be an added advantage.
At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organisation and planning skills
Proficiency in computer applications
Time management skills and attention to detail.
