Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with all project parties to collate project status reports
Monitors and updates accurate schedule progress toward achieving the desired project completion date and informs the project management team of changes to schedule outcome
Responsible for preparation of baseline program, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines as per project management plan in MS Project, Primavera
Assists in developing and integrating a robust work, cost, and Organisational Breakdown Structure and Project Control Structures in terms of project scope, by templates and company procedures
Assist with the development, review, and analysis of project schedules, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of periodic schedule updates
Prepare a live dashboard progress report for all ongoing projects reflecting the productivity in the form of an S curve ( Plan vs. actual), monitoring graph for Budget vs Actuals, Man hour monitoring
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports concerning the project micro plan
Identifies schedule variances of project status against schedule baseline
Maintains records of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance
Prepares forecasts resulting from significant deviations from scheduled baselines
Coordinates with Project manager / Project coordinator/ Department HODs for resolution of project control issues on-site
Identify the project concerns
Support and interface with the Cost Estimating team with productivity and quantities assessment.
Interface with the procurement department ( Import & Local) to chase equipment and materials for timely delivery for the projects
After the project, assist in developing and recording the project’s historical schedule information and “lessons learned”, for use in ongoing or future projects
Any other required task as assigned by the HOD / Management

Qualifications

Bachelors / Master Degree in Engineering (either Mechanical, Marine or Electrical)
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Shipyard production ( Shipbuilding & Ship repair)
At least 3 to 5 years experience in the planning department in a Shipyard, Marine Industry;
Total years of experience should be 6 to 10 years in a shipyard
Mandatory Knowledge in Planning methodology & Production process in a shipyard industry
Primavera P6, MS Project & Excel practical experience is essential
Experience and demonstrated skill in overall project reporting activities
Strict, factual, and steady on principles
Analytical and systematic, extraverted thinker
High integrity
