Job Requirement
A person shall be qualified for appointment to the position of Counsel County Transactions if that person; –
Holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized University.
Is a practicing Advocate of the High court of at least four years post admission experience.
Holds a valid practicing certificate.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrates professional competence in work performance and results.
Job Description
Drafting County legal instruments.
Offering legal advice to County Sectors on procurement matters.
Drawing up conveyancing instruments on behalf of the County sectors and entities.
Advising County sectors, departments and entities on procurement.
Vetting contracts, agreements and land conveyance instruments for and on behalf of the County Government and its entities.
Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
