Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:
Implementing communications, customer and branding strategies to support the Agencyโs objectives;
Supporting activities to enhance the corporate image of the Agency;
Monitoring internal and external media communication functions;
Assisting in protocol management;
Organizing Agencyโs planned events and functions;
Providing content in the development of Communication materials;
Supporting implementation of the Agency Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing reports;
Responding to customer enquiries
Receiving, analysing and sharing customer feedback;
Manning information desk services at public awareness programmes and outreach forums.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: -Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Membership to the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) or Media Council of Kenya (MCK) or any other relevant professional body and in good standing;and
Proficiency in computer applications.
