Job Description

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required:

Knowledge and Skills Required:

The job holder must possess;
Master’s Degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field.
Valid nursing license and registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in higher education administration, preferably as a department chair, dean, or principal.
Proven track record of leadership, strategic planning, and academic program development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholdersFamiliarity with accreditation standards and compliance regulationsStrong analytical and budgeting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a college or university setting, preferably as a principal or in a senior leadership role.
Experience with grant writing and fundraising.
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.
Must be an honest person full of integrity in their personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities
