Application Support Engineer at CrossBoundary
Job Description
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in computer science, software engineering, or related field
At least one year of experience in application support, troubleshooting, and debugging
Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
Familiar with Microsoft 365 web applications, ideally Dynamics 356 suite (Finance & Operations, Sales Hub)
Knowledge of Sharepoint development and administration, including web parts, workflows, and permissions
Proactive communicator, sharing and summarizing progress with manager on a daily basis
Willing to learn new technologies and tools
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and resolve software issues, bugs, and errors that affect the functionality and performance of the enterprise tools, and report the root causes and solutions to the Lead Analytics Engineer
Customize and enhance the user interface, features, and workflows of the software tools in response to user feedback & specific business needs. Demonstrate the added value and benefits of the customization to the stakeholders
Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, tutorials, and FAQs for the software tools, and conduct training sessions for new and existing users to increase their proficiency and satisfaction
Collaborate with CBE data professionals and CrossBoundary Group IT specialists to ensure the security, reliability, and compatibility of the software tools with the data infrastructure and systems, and follow the best practices and standards for data governance and quality
Keep abreast of the latest updates, trends, and best practices in Microsoft 365 development and administration, and suggest improvements and innovations for the software tools that align with the business goals and strategies
