Accounting Onboarding Specialist at Oasis Outsourcing
Job Description
Requirements:
Needs to be VERY proficient in QuickBooks Online—an expert!
Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and Xero (just so as to know how to extract data from those systems and get them into QuickBooks Online, if needed)
Activities & Responsibilities:
Be the accounting expert onboarding all new clients to our accounting systems
Gather all needed client documentation
Be able to convert cash-basis clients to accrual-basis, if needed
Set up the chart of accounts
Set up the entire month-end close process (using the templates/tools we provide them)
Communicate with clients on any questions
Set up the monthly reporting template (using templates/tools we provide them)
Essentially, implement our playbook with new clients and then hand the client off to a bookkeeper for ongoing maintenance
Required Hard & Soft Skills:
Good communication skills
very good project management—one will be working with many clients at once and will need to be efficient with their time
