Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing all aspects of investment in a portfolio;
Analyzing past and current financial data and performance;
Preparing reports and projections based on analysis;
Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation;
Exploring investment opportunities;
Establishing and evaluating profit plans;
Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement;
Analyzing and evaluating performance and productivity reports for presentation;
Providing financial models and forecasting;
Any other duty or responsibility as may be assigned by the CEO.
Requirement for Appointment

A person shall be qualified for appointment as the Manager, Investment Analysis if that person meets the following minimum requirements:
Master’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Professional qualification; CIFA or CFA or an equivalent qualification and membership in relevant body in good standing;
At least ten (10) years’ work experience five (5) years of which must have been in management role;
Management/Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
Proficiency in computer application; and
Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution.
