Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Initiate and propose development of client driven programs,
Develop the teaching materials, teach, and mentor both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Set, moderate and mark examinations for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students
Participate in the development and preparation of annual departmental and school plans
Supervise educational activities/projects/thesis
Assess industrial attachments for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Attend and participate in seminars/workshops/conferences in relevant fields
Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level.
Development and Review of curriculum

Qualifications and skills

PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Community Health , Environmental Health, Occpational Health,Epidemiology,Population Health, Water, Sanitation anf Hygiene from recognized University
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level as a Tutorial Fellow
Have evidence of Membership in a good standing of professional societies/boards
Must have a minimum of atleast twenty-four (24) publication points in refereed journals
