Job Description

Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications::

For appointment to the position of Chairperson, Sugar Arbitration Tribunal, a candidate must meet the following minimum requirements;

Bachelor of Laws degree or its equivalent from a recognized university;
Eligible to be appointed as a judge of the High Court of Kenya;
Be a member of a relevant professional body in good standing; and
Be of high moral character, integrity and impartiality, in line with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Should not be a Public Servant or take active part in the activities of a Political Party.
