Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Educate patients and families on health care plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
Uphold infection prevention and control standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)and possess a valid practicing license.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy medical-surgical unit.
BLS and ACLS certification is an added advantage.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
