Job Description

The Investigations Officer will join our Legal, Audit, Risk and Compliance (LARC) team and will be responsible for conducting internal investigations into alleged incidents of misconduct or violations of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, conduct, and manage investigations of alleged misconduct or potential violations of internal policies and procedures
  • Obtain and review documents, reports, and other relevant data to gather evidence for investigations
  • Interview witnesses and involved parties to obtain information related to investigations
  • Analyze data, determine findings, and formulate recommendation actions
  • Prepare detailed and accurate investigation reports outlining findings and recommendations
  • Assist in the execution of the internal audit plan by conducting audit reviews of processes, systems and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Follow up with management on the implementation of corrective actions from the investigation and audit findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences/ Law/ Finance/Accounting or related fields from a recognized university
  • ACCA/CPA/CIA/CISA/certification or the equivalent qualification is an added advantage
  • Participation in investigation training courses.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of experience conducting investigations and audits
