Job Description

Brief Description     

This role is responsible for direct online sales. Main tasks include Coordinating sales activities, setting Online sales goals, making online sales forecasts, managing performance research on the internet, creating partnerships, and converting leads into sales.

Detailed Description     

  • Define and implement online sales strategy and technique to establish online customer acquisition and conversion goals.
  • Lead the execution of e-sales plan to ensure both revenue and passenger targets are achieved.
  • Master the online customer journey, identify the different online personas, and create a good proposition while addressing the gaps identified in the journey.
  • Manage fare dilution on the upsell page.
  • Implement and manage dynamic display of fare family attributes, thru farexpert filing.
  • In collaboration with PRM and ancillary team implement product attribute to encourage upsell.
  • Develop a Price Parity reporting template Rewards redemption tickets on KQ and Partner flights.
  • Generate and distribute a weekly report on price parity to stakeholders.
  • Optimize, communicate and manage best price guarantee concept.
  • Develop and implement a market focused channel shift plan to increase online market share.
  • Identify top 3 online sales channels for Top 20OnDs and POSs and implement plan to win share in the market.
  • Maximize partner revenue by ensuring both codeshares and SPAs are available and selling online.
  • Implement direct booking capabilities through 3rd party platforms increase direct online share
  • Define and execute “O & D” strategy, focus on top 20 POS on top 20 flows.
  • Maintain relevant on site OnD offer management plan and inspiration search.
  • Identify and promote online top selling customer segments on specific OnDs.
  • Together with revenue management, develop and maintain a promotional calendar to aid in preparing and optimizing online campaigns.
  • Engage with all stakeholders to communicate responsibilities associated with the different campaigns in the promotional calendar.
  • Enhance and manage existing partnerships programs.
  • Engage with the Sales team to formulate a policy to promote all CUGs through the online platform.
  • Create engagement and loyalty through the CUG program to maximize revenues.
  • Report both verbally and in writing on the local establishment sales performance and activities
  • Report in writing the success of different regional campaign and area of improvement.
  • Understand and make use of all digital management reporting tools and platforms to get actionable data.

Job Requirements      

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field.
  • Proficiency in the usage of airline passenger systems.
  • Knowledge of KQ business, commercial and operational processes.
  • Affinity with E-commerce.
  • Sales and numbers oriented.
