Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be responsible for: –

  1. planning of office accommodation and layout;
  2. facilitating transport and travelling services;
  3. maintaining and updating furniture and office equipment inventory;
  4. ensuring payment of bills
  5. facilitating movement of assets;
  6. carrying out general maintenance of buildings and furniture;
  7. facilitating logistics for meetings, conferences and other special events;
  8. collecting and collating data on developmental activities;
  9. providing input in the monitoring and evaluating of community projects;
  10. disseminating information to the public.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration; Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Sciences from a recognized institution;
  2. Certificate in computer applications.
